The mission of The New Normal Foundation, formerly, is to inspire a world where personal healing and planetary healing are one.

We make ecological documentaries like “Normal is Over”.

We are a new organization with enthusiastic board members in The Netherlands and the USA. All board members work on a voluntary basis. We are proud to announce the non-profit 501 c 3 in California, and the ANBI status in the Netherlands. ( RSIN: 856886634). Your donations are tax deductible.

Any donation will  support the research and filming by Renée Scheltema and her crew for the next ecological documentarie(s).

Mission:

  • The mission of The New Normal Foundation is to create meaningful change for a regenerative planet. We did that by adopting the film Normal is Over, and more films to come.

Our current activities:

  • After completion of her award-winning documentary, Renée is working on a new film. It follows a mother and daughter’s intertwined search for healing after profound loss. Their journey becomes a universal call to reimagine our connection with nature as the foundation for personal and planetary regeneration.
  • Our mission is to reach as many people as possible worldwide, with documentaries. The film Normal is Over, has been screened at many film festivals. Today the message is more relevant then ever, and we are still hosting public screenings in many different countries: both in theaters, and for companies and governmental organisations.

Funding received:

  • The income of the Foundation is at the moment  low. Costs are covered by personal investments and by occasional funds and sponsors.

Normal is Over The Movie is about humanity’s wisest response to climate change, species extinction, resource depletion, income inequality, and the connection between these issues.
This award-winning documentary is connecting the dots: A look at the financial and economical paradigm underlying our planetary problems, while offering various SOLUTIONS to reverse the path of global decline.
